ABOUT ME
My expertise is in Environmental Microbiology, Aquatic Ecology, and Algal Biology. I specialize in phytoplankton ecology and identification.
I have been an Associate Professor of Biology at Rockland Community College (RCC) since 2013. My pedagogical approach is to allow students to learn through the active learning process by which students "learn by doing". I am committed to providing undergraduate students with hands-on learning experiences including: volunteer opportunities, student internship training, and independent research opportunities.
